Langtons International Agency is a successful boutique literary agency specializing in non-fiction, memoir, true crime, business books, narrative non-fiction, and self-help. We are also looking for well-written literary and commercial fiction, including mystery, thrillers, and women's fiction. We do not represent young adult or younger. We also specialize in film scripts.

Cover Letter
The cover letter should include author's name, address, phone number and e-mail address. It should describe the project concisely, giving the book's title and page count.

Author's Bio
Author's bio should be listed on a separate page and should be comprehensive, including all previous books published, any short stories which have appeared in anthologies or magazines, any writing contests or awards won, and any other information regarding you.

Synopsis
The synopsis should be no more than one page and should cover the entire book.

Writing Sample
Please include the first five pages, single-spaced.

Due to the enormous volume of projects which we receive, please allow up to six to eight weeks for response. Additionally, we also ask that authors only submit one project at a time for review.

If we would like to read more of your manuscript, we would ask that you send a hard copy submission as a single spaced, unbound, hard copy. At that time, if you would like your manuscript returned, please include a SASE.
